You should only buy and use a treadmill whose manufacture supplies you, it’s owner, with an user’s manual which in addition to directing you with education or guidance on how to use your treadmill which also provides you with precautions and warnings to avoid risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury to persons. Seek your physician’s direction and consul.

It is your responsibility as owner to ensure that all users of your treadmill are adequately informed of all warnings and precautions as described in the user’s manual.

The user’s manual takes precedence over any suggestions, information, opinions, or ideas on this website.

I received a post card from ‘Little Company of Mary Hospital” of Torrance, California inviting me to a free lecture about specific tests and treatment of key imbalances which may allow doctors to develop strategies that could be of benefit to the patent. The post card headlined “Are You Silently at Risk?”

“You may feel healthy, have great energy and “never get sick,” but physical health may not always match your body’s internal biochemical health. In many people who feel healthy, silent imbalances in the body can lead to a progression toward Heart Attack, Stroke, Diabetes, and premature aging . . ..”

Most if not all exercise manuals point out the important exercise note, “Before starting any fitness or exercise program, consult your physician.”

In view of the above comments it is possible that we could arrive at the conclusion that it is particularly important to persons with unknown pre-existing health problems in addition to persons with known pre-existing health problems that some sort of professional medical advice, comment and/or intervention could be beneficial. In other words everybody should see some professional certificated identity (physician) for his or her blessing or advice before proceeding or entering onto a treadmill or any other program.

Did you remember to get your doctor’s advice before you gained all that weight?

It’s hard to keep up with some people because they walk so fast. One recommendation that many have recommended is to walk with friends. You may be the slowest or the fastest within your group of friends when walking.

I was reviewing what I wrote previously about hiking in the trails while thinking about playing a computer game and I noticed I didn’t expand on reasons for playing games on the computer.

Developing the ability to see, think and react fast when an occasion calls for fast action is one reason. Also as part of that reason the ability to think and then react fast is another. Gathering knowledge from playing computer games allows one to know what is going to happen if certain actions are performed. Beside, games are fun to play.

Physical Exercise for the sake of physical exercise is not fun. Thinking about it is boring as well. If you really think about the reasons for this attitude, could it be because the results from this activity take so long to accrue?

Sitting down and playing computer games  is not very good for your health or butt. One of the justifying  reasons why computer games are good for you is because of brain-hand-eye coordination. The results are instantaneous.

Let me tell you about a little hand-eye coordination that I did. I did a typing test while walking on the treadmill at a speed of 3.5 miles per hour and the results of the test indicated that I typed 74 words per minute.

If you were to combine computer games with the treadmill instead of sitting down playing the game, and you start playing with them while on the ComputerDeskOverTreadmill. You are combining hand, eye, and leg coordination all together.  A sound mind equals a sound body all at the same time.

You don’t have to get dressed to be on the ComputerDeskOverTreadmill. Many people enjoy walking outside in the great outdoors. That’s fine and dandy if you live in a neighborhood with lots of outdoors. But who wants to get dressed in the morning just to exercise. Why not just exercise with the clothes that you have on when you get up in the morning, and then after you are done exercising on the ComputerDeskOverTreadmill, then you can take a shower. It’s much easier and much more convenient to do it that order. And better yet, it’s just simply better to get on the ComputerDeskOverTreadmill in whatever you’re dressed (or not) in.

Think about it. You’re being entertained and doing thing that excites or interests you, while being productive working on the computer and getting fit. You just do one thing, walking outside and looking at the great outdoors. Are you being as productive with your time as you could be? Your time is very important, while it can be fun just to be outside walking for the sake of exercise if you are into that sort of activity.

Many people require an additional motivational factor in order to do this. There exists a need to have something else besides walking and/or running on a treadmill in order to stick with it. Almost everyone loves to be entertained, but nobody wants to be bored with boredom walking on a treadmill looking at a wall ( no matter what the color of the wall). Nor do they want to just walk about the same boring block and scenery that they see every day walking.

It’s true there are beautiful hiking trails that are fun to  explore. I know I am one of those people. There are hiking trails near where I live in. I remember hiking and exploring when I was a younger. It was very beautiful, but while I was there exploring the hiking trails, I was thinking and looking forward to going home to play a computer game which seemed more exciting to me at that time.
